Ford's Theatre's new production of Edward Albee's Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, directed by Aaron Posner, has announced casting. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? plays January 21 to February 19, 2017 at the Washington, DC theater.

The production will feature Holly Twyford as Martha, Gregory Linington as George, Danny Gavigan as Nick, and Maggie Wilder as Honey. Designers include Meghan Raham (set), Kelsey Hunt (costumes), Jesse Belsky (lighting), Daniel Kluger (sound and original music), and Anne Nesmith (hair and makeup).

In this Tony Award-winning play, George and Martha invite Nick and Honey to their home after a faculty party. What awaits their late-night guests is not a welcoming nightcap but tempestuous verbal sparring fueled by alcohol and 20 years of marital dysfunction. Filled with acerbic wit, Albee's play is both wildly funny and heart-wrenching, exposing the fears and secrets of both couples as the lines between reality and illusion blur.
