Danya Taymor directs the production at the Claire Tow Theater.
Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 has announced casting for queens, a new play written by Martyna Majok. Directed by Danya Taymor, the production will run February 10-March 25 at the Claire Tow Theater, with opening night set for February 26.
In the play, "the lives of two generations of immigrant women collide in a basement apartment. When the choices they’ve made about their security, dignity, and desires come back to haunt them, they must ask: What cannot — and should not — be left behind?"
Jessica Love, Nadine Malouf, Ana Reeder, Andrea Syglowski, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Sarah Tolan-Mee, and Nicole Villamil make up the company. The creative team will include Laura Jellinek (sets), Kaye Voyce (costumes), Matt Frey (lighting), and Stowe Nelson (sound).
