The Broadway icon adds a second leg to her debut run at the cabaret venue.
Two-time Tony winner and Broadway legend Chita Rivera will return to Café Carlyle for four encore performances from May 18-21. Rivera's additional shows will follow Tony nominee Megan Hilty, who will offer performances from May 3-14.
A 10-time Tony nominee, Rivera was most recently seen on Broadway in Kander and Ebb's The Visit. She earned Tony Awards for her performances in Kander and Ebb's The Rink and Kiss of the Spider Woman, and she is well known for originating roles in Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story, and Chicago, among other classic Broadway musicals.
At the Carlyle, Rivera will be joined by music director Michael Croiter (percussion and guitar), associate music director Michael Patrick Walker (piano), Jim Donica (bass), and Dan Willis (reeds).
