The event will take place at the Nourse Theater.
Two-time Tony winner Chita Rivera will take the stage at San Francisco's Nourse Theater for a one-night-only concert on April 29. Veteran Broadway musical director Seth Rudetsky will serve as host and pianist.
The show will include hits from Rivera's 65-year career, including numbers from West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bye, Bye Birdie, and more. It will raise funds for San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Project Open Hand, and San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus.
Chita Rivera has won two Tony Awards for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and received eight additional Tony nominations. She recently starred in Broadway's The Visit, the final John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally collaboration. Rivera was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2009 and received the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002.
