The adventure musical opens off-Broadway this spring.
Rick Riordan's best-selling novel The Lightning Thief returns to the stage this spring with The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, beginning performances March 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. Chris McCarrell takes on the title role in the musical, written by Joe Tracz and Rob Rokicki and directed by Stephen Brackett. In anticipation of The Lightning Thief's off-Broadway debut, McCarrell went to the recording booth with a few songs from the show.
