Classic Stage Company Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Online Auction

Among the items available for auction are The Color Purple VIP Experience, in which the winning bidder will receive two tickets to the musical's national tour in Chicago and a backstage tour with Heather Headley; an autographed pair of Chita Rivera's dance shoes; and a custom outgoing voicemail message recorded by Kristin Chenoweth, among other items.

Since 1967, Classic Stage Company has been committed to reimagining classic stories for contemporary audiences. John Doyle is the current artistic director of the company.
