Clint Holmes and Jane Monheit will once again join composer Frank Wildhorn for “Frank and Friends,” Monday, October 15 at 7pm at Birdland. Jason Howland will act as music director.
“Frank and Friends” is a series of one-night-only concerts celebrating the songs and favorite performers from the composer’s wide range of work in popular, jazz, theatrical, and classical music. All profits go to The Actors Fund.
Wildhorn is a multi-Grammy and Tony Award-nominated composer/producer. His Broadway shows include Jekyll & Hyde — soon to return to Broadway — as well as Dracula, Wonderland, and Bonnie and Clyde. In addition, Wildhorn served as music director for the Goodwill Games in New York City and wrote the opening number for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Holmes and Monheit previously appeared as part of “Frank and Friends” earlier this summer.
