Colin Quinn The New York Story, a new comedy written by and starring Colin Quinn, will return The Cherry Lane Theatre beginning October 20, following a recent run at the theater from July 9-August 16. Based on Quinn's book The Coloring Book and directed by Jerry Seinfeld, Colin Quinn The New York Story is presented by Brian Stern, Mike Lavoie, and Mike Berkowitz.

Colin Quinn The New York Story bemoans the rise and fall of his home city of New York, from its modest beginnings as a Dutch outpost to the hipsters of modern Williamsburg to the vermin below and above ground. The play has set design by James Fauvell, costume design by Alexis Forte, and lighting design by Sarah Lurie.

Seinfeld previously worked with Quinn on his Broadway show Colin Quinn Long Story Short. A veteran of Saturday Night Live, Quinn has also appeared off-Broadway in his show Colin Quinn Unconstitutional.
