The cast and creative team will discuss the show’s road to Broadway.
BroadwayCon has announced that the award-winning musical Come From Away will join BroadwayCon 2018 as part of MainStage programming. The Come From Away panel will feature a conversation with the cast and creative team on the journey from Gander, Newfoundland, to Broadway.
Now running at the Schoenfeld Theatre, Come From Away tells the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks. The show earned seven Tony nominations, including Christopher Ashley, who won the award for his direction.
