Additional cast members join Margaret Colin, Reed Birney, and more for MTC’s American premiere production.
Complete casting has been announced for the Manhattan Theatre Club American premiere of Taking Care of Baby, a new drama by Tony winner Dennis Kelly (Matilda). The play is scheduled to arrive at New York City Center – Stage II on November 5, in advance of a November 19 opening, for a five-week limited engagement.
Francois Battiste (Bronx Bombers), Michael Crane (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Ethan Phillips (Golden Age), and Zach Shaffer (NBC's Smash) join previously announced cast members Reed Birney (Picnic), Margaret Colin (The Columnist), Kristen Bush (A Touch of the Poet), and Tony nominee Amelia Campbell (A Streetcar Named Desire). Erica Schmidt directs the production, presented as part of The Studio at Stage II – Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series.
