Constellations begins its run this evening at the Old Globe Theatre.

Physicist Marianne meets beekeeper Roland at a party. What follows is a world of infinite possibilities that are determined by minute changes, which alter the course of their lives. They hit it off, or they don’t. One of them is married, or they are both single. This chance encounter navigates a romantic journey in all its permutations, proving that two lost souls falling in love can have any number of outcomes.

Richard Seer directs Nick Payne’s play, which features Christian Coulson as Roland and Victoria Frings as Marianne.

The creative team includes David Israel Reynoso (set design), Elisa Benzoni (costume design), Bradley King (lighting design), Fitz Patton (sound design), David Huber (vocal coach), and Annette Elena Nixon (stage manager).

Performances will run through May 8.
