New cast members join ”Jane the Virgin” star Jaime Camil in the Kathleen Marshall production.
Additional casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Mamma Mia!, running July 28-30. As previously announced, the production will be directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall and conducted by David Holcenberg, with Jane the Virgin star Jaime Camil (Chicago) taking on the role of Sam Carmichael.
The show's newly announced cast members are Corbin Bleu (Holiday Inn) as Sky, Dove Cameron (Hairspray Live!) as Sophie, Lea DeLaria (The Rocky Horror Show) as Rosie, and Jennifer Nettles (Chicago) as Donna. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
With a book by Catherine Johnson and a score culled from the hits of ABBA (music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and some songs with Stig Anderson), Mamma Mia! tells the story of a young woman who attempts to discover the identity of her father as her wedding approaches. The show ran 14 years on Broadway.
