The National Symphony Orchestra will present a concert edition of West Side Story, February 14-17, at the Kennedy Center.

Directed by Francesca Zambello and conducted by Steven Reineke, the shows will star Corey Cott as Tony, Solea Pfeiffer as Maria, Ana Villafañe as Anita, Ephraim Sykes as Riff, and Joel Perez as Bernardo.

The visual designers are S. Katy Tucker and Mark McCullough, with Lynly Saunders designing the costumes.

West Side Story, the iconic American musical featuring a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, tells a modernized Romeo-and-Juliet love story. Set on the Upper West Side of New York City, Tony and Maria are the "star-crossed" lovers, torn apart by their allegiances to competing teenage street gangs, the American "Jets" and the Puerto Rican "Sharks."
