Tony-nominated composers Craig Carnelia and Andrew Lippa and Grammy-winning songwriter Lari White were among the teacher/mentors who performed as part of New Music from The Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project, presented last week at Merkin Hall.
Cabaret artist Marilyn Maye also performed during this evening, which spotlighted the work of songwriters such as Kellen Blair & Joe Kinosian, Adam Gwon, Michael Kooman & Christopher Dimond, Phoebe Kreutz, Peter Lerman, Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, Benjamin Scheuer, Alina Smith and Shaina Taub.
