The organization also announces a national tour of two productions.
The Acting Company has announced an upcoming national tour and monthly reading series.
The 15-city national tour will consist of Marcus Gardley’s X and William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. It will run January 31-April 2, before coming to the New Victory Theater for a run March 15-26. Ian Belknap, the Acting Company’s artistic director, directs X and Devin Brain, the Acting Company’s associate artistic director, directs Julius Caesar.
The reading series will feature Noël Coward's Design for Living, directed by Maria Aitken (December 12), Karel Capek's R.U.R., directed by Dana Ivey (February 13), Gardley's The Wolf in Snakeskin Shoes (March 20), Rebecca Gilman's Doll House, directed by Ian Belknap (April 24), and Meg Miroshnik's Lady Tattoo, directed by Devin Brain (May 15).
