On Thursday, May 1, Here Lies Love celebrated its second opening night at The Public Theater.

Conrad Ricamora, Ruthie Ann Miles, and Jose Llana lead the company as Ninoy Acquino, Imelda Marcos, and Ferdinand Marcos, respectively.

The full cast of Here Lies Love.

Inspired by the life of Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos, Here Lies Love takes place in a dance club atmosphere as it follows the journey of Marcos' meteoric rise to power and subsequent descent into infamy and disgrace at the end of the People Power Revolution. Byrne coauthored the musical with Fatboy Slim.
