World premiere plays by Halley Feiffer, Rajiv Joseph, and Doug Wright will be featured as part of Atlantic Theater Company's 2014-2015 season.
The season opens with the new, previously announced musical Found, which has a score by Eli Bolin and a book by Hunter Bell and Lee Overtree. The show will run under Overtree's direction in the Linda Gross Theater from September 18-November 9, with opening night set for October 4.
Next up in the Linda Gross is the American premiere of Dying for It, Moira Buffini's adaptation of Nikolai Erdman's The Suicide. Directed by Neil Pepe, the production runs from December 17-January 25, 2015, officially opening on January 8. The Linda Gross season will also include Wright's new drama, Posterity, which the playwright directs, running from February 25-April 5, as well as Joseph's Guards at the Taj, running from May 6-June 14.
Atlantic Stage 2 will see Feiffer's I'm Gonna Pray for You So Hard, running from January 7-Febuary 8, 2015, under Tripp Cullman's direction, as well as a double bill of David Mamet one-acts, titled Ghost Stories: The Shawl and Prairie du Chien, from May 27–June 21.
The season's Atlantic for Kids productions are Ivy & Bean the Musical, written by Scott Elmegreen and based on the books by Annie Barrows, and Camp Kappawanna, which features a book by Cusi Cram and Peter Hirsch, and a score by Lisa Loeb, Michelle Lewis, and Dan Petty.
