Opera star Deborah Voigt and a slew of Broadway favorites will take the stage in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance (or The Slave of Duty), to be performed October 15 and 16 at New York City Center. Presented by MasterVoices (the new name for the legendary Collegiate Chorale), the evening will be directed and conducted by Tony winner Ted Sperling (The King and I).

Joining Voigt in the company are Hunter Parrish (Weeds, Godspell), Tony winner Douglas Hodge (Old Times), Tony nominees Phillip Boykin (On the Town) and Montego Glover (Les Misérables), Betsy Wolfe (The Last Five Years), and Julia Udine (The Phantom of the Opera). Sperling will conduct the Orchestra of St. Luke's, which will perform the original orchestrations by Arthur Sullivan.

The creative team for the concert includes Gustavo Zajac (choreography), David Korins (scenic design), Frances Aronson (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
