Beautiful — The Carole King Musical and Degrassi star Jake Epstein will lead the cast of Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola's new play, Straight. Directed by Andy Sandberg, the show will run February 9-May 8, with opening night set for February 29 at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row.

Straight is described as follows: "Meet Ben. Ben is a 26-year-old investment banker. Ben likes beer, sports, and Emily. And Chris." Epstein will play Ben, with Thomas E. Sullivan (The Mormon Bird Play) as Chris. Additional casting and creative team will be announced in the coming months.

Fornarola is the author of the musicals Claudio Quest and Molly Shannon’s Tilly The Trickster, as well as the film VeggieTales Noah's Ark. With Elmegreen, he is the author of the play Thucydides. Sandberg directed The Last Smoker in America and the coauthor of Application Pending.
