The LCT3 production of Disgraced, which opened to glowing reviews at the brand new Claire Tow Theater, has extended its run through December 23.

Ayad Akhtar’s play centers on Pakistani-American corporate lawyer Amir Kapoor — played by Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi — whose life and career begin to unravel after he intervenes on behalf of an Imam accused of raising money for terrorists.

The cast also includes Heidi Armbruster as Amir’s wife Emily, Omar Maskati as Amir’s nephew Abe, and Erik Jensen and Karen Pittman as a couple who play a pivotal part in Amir’s undoing. Kimberly Senior directs.
