Carolyn Cantor directs the production for Playwrights Horizons.
The stars of Gregory S. Moss' Indian Summer met the press at Playwrights Horizons on April 12. Directed by Carolyn Cantor, the production will run there from May 13-June 26.
Owen Campbell (The Americans), Jonathan Hadary (Golden Boy), Elise Kibler (The Heidi Chronicles), and Joe Tippett (Airline Highway) make up the company. The tale follows Daniel (Campbell), who, abandoned by his mom, is consigned to spend a summer with his granddad (Hadary) in a Rhode Island beach town. His vacation turns around when he meets Izzy (Kibler), a tough-talking young woman who happens to be taken.
The production will feature scenic design by Dane Laffrey, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Eric Southern, and sound design by Stowe Nelson.
