Emmy Award winner Eric McCormack will star in the upcoming WWE Studios film, Barricade, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Andrew Currie will direct the film, which features a screenplay by Michaelbrent Collings.
The film is a supernatural thriller about a psychiatrist and his two kids who are terrorized by unknown forces at a remote cabin.
In related news, McCormack will also star in and produce a pilot for TNT, entitled Perception. This project, which will co-star Rachael Leigh Cook, is about a neuropsychology professor who helps the FBI to solve complex cases.
McCormack was seen on Broadway as Harold Hill in The Music Man, and Off-Broadway in Some Girl(s). He is best known for his role in Will & Grace, for which he won an Emmy Award for Best Leading Actor in a Comedy Series.
