The toast of Broadway helped Encompass New Opera Theatre recently honor Tony Award winners Barbara Cook (Sondheim on Sondheim) and Lee Adams (the lyricist of Bye Bye Birdie and Applause) at its recent gala at the National Arts Club.

The event was hosted by Midge Woolsey of Thirteen and featured performances by the likes of Penny Fuller, Jason Graae, Sheldon Harnick, Rebecca Luker, Amanda McBroom, Erin Mackey, Karen Mason, Charles Strouse, K.T. Sullivan, Malcolm Gets, and many others.
