Ghostlight Records has given TheaterMania an exclusive first listen of Patti LuPone's track "Now You Know" from the upcoming cast recording of War Paint. The album is available digitally beginning Friday, May 26.

Listen to the song here:

Inspired by Lindy Woodhead's book War Paint, as well as by Ann Carol Grossman and Arnie Reisman's PBS documentary The Powder & the Glory, the show examines the ascent and rivalry of cosmetics entrepreneurs Helena Rubenstein (LuPone) and Elizabeth Arden (Christine Ebersole), whose 50-year tug-of-war gave birth to an industry. Directed by Michael Greif and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, War Paint features a book by Doug Wright and score by Scott Frankel and Michael Korie.

War Paint opened at the Nederlander Theatre on April 6 and is nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Actress in a Musical (LuPone and Ebersole), Scenic Design (David Korins), and Costume Design (Catherine Zuber).
