EXCLUSIVE: Repertorio Español to Present Golden Age Plays by Female Authors

Repertorio Español will offer a series of readings of plays by 17th century female Spanish playwrights as part of its premiere of Ana Caro's 375-year-old play Valor, Agravio y Mujer.

Director Leyma López will stage readings of the following: El Conde Partinuples by Ana Caro Mallen de Soto (November 7); La Fermeza En El Ausencia by Leonor de la Cueva y Silva (November 14); Golden Era short plays by Sor Marcela de San Felix (November 21); Buena Amante y Buen Amigo by Isabel Maria Moron (November 28); and La Tracion En La Amistad by Maria de Zayas y Sotomayor (December 6). Admission to the readings is free.

Valor, Agravio y Mujer begins preview performances October 27, with opening night set for November 1. It joins the company's rotating repertory until May 10.
