A lot can happen in ten years. A beloved television star could die. A president could come and go from office. And a little show about the intermingling of humans and puppets could exceed expectations by winning three Tony Awards and playing profitable runs on and off Broadway and around the world.
Avenue Q has also played successful runs in dozens of countries internationally. Not bad for a show where they sing about porn, racism, and Gary Coleman.
