Berkshire Theatre Group’s off-Broadway transfer of Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical Fiorello! has announced a new weekly lottery.

Beginning Tuesday, September 20 at 5pm, the lottery will offer patrons the chance to win one of ten free pairs of tickets to that evening's 7pm performance by submitting their name to the BTG staff member located outside the East 13th Street Theatre. Winners will then be announced at 5:30pm.

The subsequent lotteries on Wednesday, September 28 and Wednesday, October 5 will be held at 12pm, with winners of free tickets to that evening's 7pm performance being announced at 12:30pm. There is a limit of one entry, per day, per person, and winners must be present at the time of drawing to claim their tickets.

Helmed by director by Bob Moss (founder of Playwrights Horizons), the 21-member company includes Erika Anclade, John Barsoian, Katie Birenboim, Michael Brahce, Rebecca Brudner, Matt Caccamo, Drew Carr, Dan Cassin, Collier Cobb, Christy Coco, Chelsea Cree Groen, Maureen Glessner Edwards, Austin Scott Lombardi, Ana Lovric, Matt McLean, Kelsey Ryan Moore, Rylan Morsbach, Ben Dallas Redding, Julius Reese, Jessica Riloff, and Michael Sullivan.

With a book by Jerome Weidman and George Abbott, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, the show is described as a "big-hearted look at Mayor LaGuardia and his battle for the people of New York City."

Performances began September 4 in advance of a September 9 opening and will run through October 6.
