The world-premiere musical brings a popular science-fiction novel to the stage.
Be More Chill, a new musical based on the acclaimed 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini, is now in performance at Red Bank, New Jersey's Two River Theater.
Directed by Stephen Brackett, the show features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and a book by Joe Tracz. The story begins with an average teenager, Jeremy Heere (Will Connolly), whose life is irrevocably changed when he is introduced to "The Squip" (Eric William Morris), a tiny supercomputer. With the Squip, all of his dreams are possible, but with all these possibilities comes the question: Is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk?
Take a look at the cast of Be More Chill on the Two River stage, where performances will be running through 21.
