New York City
An ensemble of four women present Lampanelli’s world-premiere comedy.
Lisa Lampanelli's new comedy Stuffed is now in previews at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre where the show is set to open October 7 and run through November 6.
Directed by Jackson Gay (and with additional material by Ashley Austin Morris), the WP Theater production "brings together four women's disparate stories to paint a portrait of the insanity of a world that forces women to address hard-hitting issues like: Is eating an ice cream sandwich in the shower an emotionally fulfilling activity? When it comes to blue jeans, should one opt for a camel toe or a muffin top? And the ultimate question: can food and body-image issues ever truly be conquered?"
Lampanelli heads the company, alongside Broadway veteran Ann Harada (Cinderella), 2016 Outer Critics Circle Award nominee Zainab Jah (Eclipsed), and Jessica Luck.
