Lincoln Center Theater's LCT3 production of queens, a new play written by Martyna Majok, has released its first set of production photos ahead of an opening night set for March 5. Danya Taymor directs the production, running through March 25 at the Claire Tow Theater.
In the play, "the lives of two generations of immigrant women collide in a basement apartment. When the choices they've made about their security, dignity, and desires come back to haunt them, they must ask: What cannot — and should not — be left behind?"
Jessica Love, Nadine Malouf, Ana Reeder, Andrea Syglowski, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Sarah Tolan-Mee, and Nicole Villamil make up the company. The creative team includes Laura Jellinek (sets), Kaye Voyce (costumes), Matt Frey (lighting), and Stowe Nelson (sound).
