Ramos is expected to reprise his Kennedy Center performance in the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical.

Anthony Ramos is reportedly in talks to star in Lin-Manuel Miranda's upcoming film adaptation of his musical In the Heights — set to be released on June 26, 2020. Ramos, who previously worked with Miranda in the original cast of Hamilton, would take on the lead role of Usnavi, which Miranda himself originated on Broadway.

If you're wondering what Ramos would bring to the role, wonder no longer, because the stage and screen actor played the part in the Kennedy Center's semistaged concert version Broadway Center Stage In the Heights. The production, which ran March 21-25 at the Kennedy Center in the Eisenhower Theater, also featured Vanessa Hudgens as Vanessa, with Ana Villafañe as Nina, and Eden Espinosa as Daniela.
