Flashback Friday: Celebrate Pride With the Original Cast of La Cage Aux Folles

It's Pride weekend, and with that in mind, we're flashing back to the original Broadway production of Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein's musical La Cage aux Folles. La Cage was one of the first Broadway musicals to explore the relationship between an out gay couple, as well as embrace what it means to be proud of yourself as an individual. Here, the original company of Cagelles sing "We Are What We Are," and original leading man George Hearn proudly declares "I Am What I Am."
