The ”Prom” star could win a Tony this Sunday. Here’s an approximation of what that would look like.

Broadway's biggest night of the year is only two days away, and we're anticipating a memorable return visit by the one-and-only Beth Leavel.

This year, she's up against Kelli O'Hara (Kiss Me, Kate), Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show), Eva Noblezada (Hadestown), and her Broadway costar Caitlin Kinnunen for her leading performance as stage diva Dee Dee Allen in The Prom. It's the third Tony nomination of Leavel's career, but this one involves many of the same players that helped nab her first nomination and win in 2006 for The Drowsy Chaperone — the inspiration for today's Flashback Friday.

Book writer Bob Martin and her tearful director Casey Nicholaw got to watch Leavel collect her award 13 years ago. Perhaps they'll get to do it again on Sunday

Note: 2006 was peak Grey's Anatomy, so imagine how exciting this Sara Ramirez-T.R. Knight intro must have been.
