Flashback Friday: Celebrating Lindsay Mendez, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Dogfight

This is a big year for Lindsay Mendez and songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Last night, Mendez celebrated her opening night in Joshua Harmon's new comedy Significant Other. And this past Sunday, Pasek and Paul, the writers behind the ongoing Broadway hit Dear Evan Hansen, received their first Academy Award for the tune "City of Stars" from La La Land. To celebrate their accomplishments this season, we're looking back on the 2012 off-Broadway musical Dogfight, in which Mendez starred and for which Pasek and Paul wrote the songs (Peter Duchan penned the book). Here's hoping that a Broadway run is still in the cards.
