In 1978, CBS aired A Special Sesame Street Christmas. A riff on A Christmas Carol, this production has faded from memory ever since, but one thing stands out: guest star Ethel Merman calling Imogene Coca an idiot and then singing "Tomorrow" from Annie. Yeah, it's absurd. But what a delight.
