Flashback Friday: Frances McDormand Is One of Broadway's Good People

Last Sunday, Frances McDormand won her second Oscar for her performance in Martin McDonagh's Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. With all her film accolades, she's a Hollywood commodity, but in New York City, we'll always consider her a woman of the theater first.

McDormand made her Broadway debut in 1984 with Awake and Sing!, followed by roles in A Streetcar Named Desire (Tony nomination), The Country Girl, and last but not least, David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People, which earned her her first Tony Award in 2011. In honor of her Oscar win, which included one of the best speeches of the evening, we're flashing back to McDormand's Tony speech, featuring the outfit every actress wishes she could wear to an awards ceremony.
