Lincoln Center's revival of Falsettos ends its run this Sunday at the Walter Kerr Theatre, following a limited run that began this past fall. The musical, which combines William Finn and James Lapine's one-acts March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland, boasts Broadway veterans Christian Borle, Stephanie J. Block, Brandon Uranowitz, Andrew Rannells, Betsy Wolfe, and Tracie Thoms (along with Anthony Rosenthal as the group's communal bar mitzvah boy Jason).

The ensemble performance will go down in Broadway history as it's put to film for PBS' Live From Lincoln Center series — so as a new company enters the archives, we wanted to remember the cast that launched Falsettos' Broadway career. Stephen Bogardus, Michael Rupert, Chip Zien, Carolee Carmello, Heather MacRae, Barbara Walsh, and Jonathan Kaplan (as Jason) made up the show's original modern family and performed scenes from the unorthodox musical at the 1992 Tony Awards ceremony. Take a look below at the live medley and start dreamcasting the next revival, due on Broadway in 2040.
