Shakespeare’s romantic comedy opens at the Workshop Theatre this month.
This fall, Frog & Peach Theatre Company presents Shakespeare's romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Performances are set to run from October 22-November 15 at the Workshop Theatre.
Set in Sicily, Much Ado About Nothing opens with Don Pedro and his platoon of courtly soldiers returning from war. The story that unfolds follows the unlikely and comic love story between Beatrice and ladies' man Benedick.
Directed by Frog & Peach founder Lynnea Benson, the cast will feature Amy Frances Quint as Beatrice, Lenny Ciotti as Benedick, and Marcus Watson as Claudio, along with David Elyha, Ilaria Amadasi, Vivien Landau, J.P. Makowski, Alyssa Diamond, Matthew Velez, James Foster Jr., John Lampe, Alec Barniskis, Liz Tancredi, David Personne, Paul Battiato, Steve Fogelman, Samuel Douglas Clark, Jamar Brathwaite, and Vicki Kulkin.
The creative team includes Nina Vartanian (costume design), Ashley Cusack (set and design), Dennis Parichy (lighting design), Ted Zurkowski (music), and Tom Knutson (movement).
