Mila Kunis will also star in the new STX film.
Musical-theater favorites Christina Applegate (Broadway's Sweet Charity) and Kristen Bell (Frozen, Reefer Madness) will star in a new untitled STX comedy, according to Variety. The film, which was previously titled Bad Moms, will also feature film and television star Mila Kunis (Black Swan).
The untitled movie will be directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore and produced by Suzanne Todd and Bill Block. Applegate, Bell, and Kunis will star as three moms who attempt to extricate themselves from their humdrum day-to-day lives, but find themselves pitted against a clique of perfect parents.
Applegate made her Broadway debut in 2005 as Charity Hope Valentine in the Neil Simon, Cy Coleman, and Dorothy Fields musical Sweet Charity. To film audiences, she is known for comedies such as Anchorman and Up All Night.
In 2005, Kristen Bell starred in the made-for-television musical comedy film Reefer Maddness and in 2013 she voiced the character of Anna in Frozen. She also starred in television's Veronica Mars, House of Lies, and more.
