Marc Grapey has replaced the previously announced George Wendt in Northlight Theatre‘s production of Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple, which runs November 2-December 9 under BJ Jones’ direction.

Wendt, who was set to play Oscar Madison, withdrew from the production afer being hospitalized last weekend. “George checked into the hospital Sunday evening with chest pains, is getting medical attention and will eventually make a full recovery. All of us at Northlight wish George all the best for a speedy recuperation,” says Executive Director Timothy Evans.

The show’s cast also includes Tim Kazurinsky as Felix Unger, Danny Breen (Vinnie), Bruce Jarchow (Roy), William Dick (Speed), Molly Glynn (Cecily), and Katherine Keberlein (Gwen). Grapey was originally set to play Murray the Cop; no replacement for the role has yet been named.
