Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play, a new Anne Washburn-Michael Friedman creation currently playing at Playwrights Horizons, is set in the aftermath of a worldwide electric apocalypse where a group of survivors maintain their sanity by recalling and reenacting the 1993 Simpsons episode “Cape Feare.”

The production stars Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Susannah Flood, Gibson Frazier, Matthew Maher, Nedra McClyde, Jennifer R. Morris, Colleen Werthmann, and Sam Breslin Wright and will run through October 6.
