Austin Pendleton directs the revival of Horton Foote’s play.
Performances are underway for Cherry Lane Theatre's Austin Pendleton-helmed revival of Horton Foote's The Traveling Lady. Currently in previews, the production is set to open on June 22. Check out photos from the show in the gallery below.
The Traveling Lady is described as follows: "The unforgettable tale of an intrepid woman who journeys to a small town in 1950s Texas to reunite with her husband upon his release from prison. A poignant story of loss and redemption, The Traveling Lady looks into the heart and soul of America."
Featured in the cast is Larry Bull (The Coast of Utopia), Lynn Cohen (Ivanov), Angelina Fiordellisi (Zorba), Jean Lichty (Nora, A Loss of Roses), George Morfogen (A Man for All Seasons), Ron Piretti (West Side Story), P.J. Sosko (Jonathan’s Blaze), Jill Tanner (Dividing the Estate), Korinne Tetlow, and Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway).
The production’s design team includes Harry Feiner (scenic and lighting design), Theresa Squire (costume design), Ryan Rumery (sound design and original compositions), Paul Huntley (wig design), and Amy Stoller (dialect design and dramaturgy).
