Yellow Sound Label has announced the upcoming release of a new album from Glee and Allegiance star Telly Leung. The record, titled Songs for You will be released on November 20, with the lead single "New York State of Mind" available on October 23.

Songs for You will feature familiar classic songs from the worlds of Pop, Jazz, R&B, and Broadway, performed Leung's unique twist and accompanied by lush musical arrangements by Gary Adler, Mary Ann McSweeney, Jesse Vargas, and Telly himself. The album is a follow up to Telly’s 2012 debut album I’ll Cover You. Michael Croiter produces.

Music on Songs for You includes "Human Nature," originally recorded by Michael Jackson; "Leaving On A Jet Plane," originally recorded by John Denver; and more. Telly has also added in some songs by his favorite theater composers, like Stephen Sondheim ("Being Alive"), Jerry Herman ("I Am What I Am") and Stephen Schwartz ("Dreamscape"). In addition, Songs for You features the world premiere recording of "Second Chances" from the pre-Broadway engagement of Allegiance.

Best known as Wes on Glee, Telly Leung is a Broadway veteran who has appeared in Godspell, Rent, and Flower Drum Song. Leung is set to star alongside George Takei and Lea Salonga in the new Broadway musical Allegiance, which is set to open at the Longacre Theatre on November 8.
