Gloria Star Ryan Spahn Joins Exit Strategy

The New York premiere of Ike Holter’s new drama at the Cherry Lane Theatre finds its cast.

Primary Stages has announced casting for the New York premiere of Exit Strategy, written by Ike Holter (Hit the Wall) and directed by Kip Fagan (Grand Concourse). The limited engagement runs from March 30-May 6 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

Following the chaotic final days of an urban public high school, Exit Strategy is a drama that explores the future of public education. The cast features Michael Cullen (King Liz) as Arnold, Aimé Donna Kelly (Macbeth) as Sadie, Rey Lucas (About Alex) as Luce, Deirdre Madigan (A Delicate Balance) as Pam, Christina Nieves (The House on Mango Street) as Jania, Brandon J. Pierce (Metamorphoses) as Donnie, and Ryan Spahn (Gloria) as Ricky.

Exit Strategy features scenic design by Andrew Boyce, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Thom Weaver, and sound design by Daniel Perelstein.
