Goodspeed Musicals aims to expand its accessibility programming this season. Not only will it offer two sensory-friendly performances this season — last year, they did one — but, thanks to a partnership with Theatre Development Fund through the National Opening Captioning Initiative, the company will offer a handful of open-captioned performances.

The two sensory-friendly performances will be for the September 24, 2pm performance of Oklahoma!, and the December 10, 2pm performance of A Connecticut Christmas Carol. Tickets for these performances will be sold only to those on the spectrum and their families.

There will be four open-captioned performances this season: the September 8, 8pm performance of Darling Grenadine; the September 15, 8pm performance of Oklahoma!; the December 1, 8pm performance of Rags, and the December 8, 8pm, performance of A Connecticut Christmas Carol.
