Half Way to an EGOT, Eddie Redmayne Has Tony and Oscar Speeches Worth Comparing

Already a Tony Award winner (for John Logan’s play Red), theater darling Eddie Redmayne made it half way to an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards) last night when he snagged the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. The actor gave a completely adorable acceptance speech in which he was even more overwhelmed than in the speech that he gave for his 2010 Tony. If this continues, the speech he gives when presented with a Grammy should be off the charts.
