Tony-winning Hamilton director Thomas Kail is developing a new live, interactive sitcom with Fox.

Variety reports that the show, titled Immediate Family, follows a man who's convinced that he can keep his family from falling apart, though that might not be the case. Dave Finkel and Brett Baer, executive producers of New Girl, will write and produce, with Kail directing and producing.

In addition to his work on Hamilton, Kail is known to Broadway audiences for having directed the plays Lombardi and Magic/Bird. He made his Broadway debut directing Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, which netted him a Tony nomination. He won an Emmy for directing Grease Live!
