Harry Belafonte, Rosie O'Donnell Welcome Michael Moore to Broadway

Michael Moore's solo show The Terms of My Surrender celebrated its opening at the Belasco Theatre on August 10. The star-studded crowd included Gloria Steinem, Harry Belafonte, Rosie O'Donnell, Christie Brinkley, and more. Check out TheaterMania's photos in the gallery below.

The production, directed by Michael Mayer, is described as "an exhilarating, subversive one-man show guaranteed to take audiences on a ride through the United States of Insanity." The Terms of My Surrender, like Moore's films, features the wry, satirical humor of "one of America's iconic political observers and all-around-sh*t-disturbers, a fearless Midwesterner not interested in taking any prisoners."

The Terms of My Surrender has a set by David Rockwell, lighting design by Kevin Adams, sound design by Brian Ronan, costumes by Tony Award nominee Jeff Mahshie, video and projection designs by Andrew Lazarow, and movement direction by Noah Racey.
