The play imagines a series of meetings between Queen Elizabeth II (Mirren) and the twelve Prime Ministers who have come and gone during her time at Buckingham Palace.
Gwynne, who will play Margaret Thatcher, was seen on Broadway and the West End in Billy Elliot; Ritter will play John Majorl and Hardy will portray Winston Churchill. Additional casting will be announced in the future.
The production features scenic and costume design by Bob Crowley, lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti, and video by Ian William Galloway.
