The showman will reprise his acclaimed West Coast performance.
After breaking box office records at the Geffen Playhouse, Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin will return to the Los Angeles theater for a two-week engagement from August 4-16.
Felder premiered the show at the Geffen Playhouse in November 2014 — a run he followed up with New Year’s Eve performances of Hershey Felder’s Great American Songbook Sing-Along.
The show brings to life the story of the legendary American songwriter who composed 232 Top 10 hit songs. Born in Czarist Russia, Berlin immigrated to New York's Lower East Side as a child with his family and went on to achieve the American dream. The program features the composer's most popular songs, including "Alexander's Ragtime Band," "Always," "Blue Skies," "God Bless America," "Puttin' on the Ritz," "There's No Business Like Show Business," "White Christmas," the score of Annie Get Your Gun, and more.
